UConn’s guided tours are designed for prospective students and their families. Tours of the Storrs campus are held daily and reservations are required. Tours last about two hours and include a 30-minute information session followed by a 90-minute walking tour.

We encourage you to book your tour at least two weeks in advance. Tours are held throughout the year. Weekend tours and tours scheduled during school holidays and vacations fill up quickly. During business hours, guided tour can be reserved via phone. Contact the UConn Visitors Center at (860) 486-4900.

The Lodewick Visitors Center has closed for the business day.

Tour Details

Your student tour leader will provide you with information about the University, the UConn admission process, our quality academic programs, resident and commuter life, and our extensive cocurricular activities.

Your tour will include stops at:

  1. A state-of-the-art academic facility
  2. An undergraduate residence hall
  3. UConn’s student recreation facility
  4. The Homer Babbidge Library, which has been named the top public research library in New England

All tours begin promptly and include extensive time outdoors. We encourage you to wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes that are suitable for the weather.
